Team Ryano fighters Stephanie Quaile (0-0) and Ayo Daly (1-0) both made weight, as did their opponents, ahead of their respective fights tomorrow night at EFC 38 in Durban, South Africa.
Quaile will be fighting Amanda Lino (0-0) in what will be the first fight in an exclusive six-fight contract with the promotion. Lino is coming in with a lot of hype surrounding her and Quaile told us in an interview earlier this week that all the pressure is on her opponent and that she is looking forward to getting in there and slugging it out.
Ayo Daly stepped up recently to replace the injured Peter Queally against knockout artist and Martin van Staden (14-7). The experienced South African has competed against UFC calibre opponents in the past so it will be a tough test for Daly, who only recently made his professional debut after going undefeated as an amateur. It is said that the winner of this fight will get a crack at the welterweight title.
