UFC and Bellator veteran Dave ‘Pee Wee’ Herman found himself in a spot of bother yesterday as he lead Police on a car chase that ended with the heavyweight getting tased.
According to MMAJunkie.com Herman was speeding with no headlights or taillights on prompting the Police to attempt him to pull him over but the 30-year-old initially refused but then eventually stopped at a gas station.
According to the report, he exited the vehicle in an aggressive manner and, as a result, got tased, : “David exited his vehicle and approached Officers in an aggressive manner. David was given multiple warnings to get on the ground and failed to comply. David had to be tased in order to be taken into custody. An infant and adult female were also present in the vehicle.”
Herman possibly faces three felony charges, including resisting law enforcement with a vehicle and battery against law enforcement, and another misdemeanor charge.
Herman last competed in the UFC in July, 2013 but was released from the promotion following a four-fight-skid and has only competed once since then, a decision win over Kalib Starnes in Titan FC last year.
