Alexander Schlemenko (49-7) has been riding high of late with twelve wins on the trot. His latest was a dismantling of KO maestro Doug Marshall (18-7) last Friday at Bellator 109.
Schlemenko targeted the body with clinical punches and kicks during the first round win. He eventually dropped Marshall with a liver-shot (see below) at the end of the round. It was one too many for “The Rhino” to withstand as he crumbled over in pain forcing referee Dan Mirgliotta to step in to call an end to the title fight.
Elsewhere on the card Terry Etim won his first post UFC fight beating Patrick Cenoble via unanimous decision. Bellator 109 also featured both welterweight and lightweight tourney finals one with ending with a highlight reel KO! See the highlights below.
