In what may have been one of his finest performances inside the Octagon to date against Michael Johnson, Nate Diaz had one thing on his mind in his post fight interview. And that one thing was a certain Mr Conor McGregor.
Lightweight Diaz defeated Johnson (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) on the main card of the UFC Orlando show and as you can see from the post fight interview with Joe Rogan below did not hold back his words when it come to adding some fuel to a potential showdown with McGregor.
McGregor who held both the Featherweight and Lightweight belts at Cage Warriors Fighting Championship is hoping to become the first dual weight Champion in UFC history and a move to 155lbs is likely to be imminent. Diaz is a solid Lightweight contender and given his brash personality will certainly sell a potential fight with McGregor is he chooses to move to 155lbs.
