UFC Croatia gets four bouts announced

UFC Croatia has today received its first four bouts for the UFC’s debut in the country which takes place on 10th April at the Zagreb Arena.

Heavyweights Gabriel Gonzaga and Ruslan Magomedov will clash, as will Light Heavyweights Jan Blachowicz and Igor Pokrajac.

Also on the card former Cage Warriors Welterweight Champion Nicolas Dalby will take on Bartosz Fabinski and Francis Ngannou will take on Bojan Mihajlovic.

No announcements have yet been made on a headline fight for the promotions debut in Croatia.

Tony’s Thoughts:

Some nice European fights announced for UFC Croatia so far and the most interesting aspect will be who is going to headline the card.

With Stipe Miocic recently willing to step up and take on Fabricio Werdum for the UFC Heavyweight Title its unsure of whether or not he would be put on a European card but there is certainly an argument to be had that the UFC could do a Heavyweight Title eliminator including Miocic.

Its good to see Pokrajac back on the card and he will be a heavy crowd favourite walking in to his bout against Blachowicz which is a real tough challenge for him.
