UFC ANNOUNCE IRELAND & GERMANY SHOWS & PLANS FOR SCOTLAND

Been a busy couple of days in London for the UFC. Garry Cook has been putting in overtime in regards to the announcements being made for the UFC’s future shows.

The question from Irish fans of ‘when will the UFC be back?’ has been asked ever since the promotion held their first, and only, card in Dublin over five years ago. Now the Irish fans finally have their answer, the date will be July 19th. This coincides with Conor McGregor’s return to recovery who will, no doubt, be heavily involved with this event.

Another date confirmed is the UFC’s return to Germany, May 31st. The host city will be Berlin. It has been three and a half years since their very underwhelming event in Oberhausen, Germany. Media and politicians were against it and the UFC had trouble broadcasting their product in Germany.

Also, Garry Cook announced that Scotland, who have yet to host an event, are being targeted for an event sometime in 2015. Scotland now have two fighters in the UFC, Robert Whiteford and Joanne Calderwood who is vying for the title trough TUF 20.
