TYRON WOODLEY WANTS CARLOS CONDIT AT UFC 170

Following yesterday’s division-shaking announcement from George St. Pierre where he revealed that he has vacated his welterweight title — Tyron Woodley took to Twitter to tell Dana White and Lorenzo Feritta exactly who he wants next.

Woodley has his sights set on top contender Carlos Condit, who was supposed to face Matt Brown at tonight’s UFC on FOX event. White mentioned that Condit will likely fight at UFC 171 in a No. 1 contender’s bout, and has ruled out Condit’s original opponent. With other top-contenders booked for bouts and the rest on the sidelines — Woodley wants the fight.

Johnny Hendricks is slated to fight the re-surging Robbie Lawlor at UFC 171 for the vacant UFC Welterweight Championship, the same event where Condit is expected to fight next. While Woodley asked for the fight UFC 170, he ensured would gladly take the bout at UFC 171.
