Former UFC Heavyweight Seth “The Silverback” Petruzelli has signed with the WWE as a striking coach for the developmental talent.
Petruzelli who retired from MMA with a 14-8 record gained fame when he stopped Kimbo Slice at EliteXC in 14 seconds in October 2008.
Petruzelli has joined the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida to help developmental talent with their striking and will support the talent three days a week.
He becomes the latest mixed martial artist to turn to professional wrestling with Brock Lesnar, Shayna Baszler and Matthew Riddle among the other names recently making the switch.
