Fedor Returns to Mixed Martial Arts

It would appear that Fedor ‘The Last Emperor’ is on a comeback trail, according to our friends over there at Bloody Elbow who confirmed the story via multiple sources. The outlet reports that Fedor is indeed training in mixed martial arts with a view to competing again.

At 38 years of age it’s debatable whether coming out of retirement is the right choice, given that the mixed martial arts landscape is barely recognisable compared to the one he left behind after beating his last opponent, Pedro Rizzo, in 2012 at M-1 Global.

A mixed martial arts promotion has yet to be named as the new home for his comeback, but with recent meetings undertaken with Bellator’s Scott Coker, and given the recent sideshow attractions that the promotion seem keen on, there is every possibility that this will be his destination.
