RAMPAGE & KING MO MEET IN BELLATOR FINAL, SCUFFLE IN CAGE POST-FIGHT

It was a bold move by the Bellator brass to put Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson and Muhammad ‘King Mo’ Lawal on opposite ends of the Bellator season 10 light-heavyweight tournament and it paid off on Friday night.

Both fighters won their respective fights and will now meet in the final with the winner getting a crack at the title, May 9th is the date that has been set for the fight and they have done their best to lay down the foundations for a ‘fued’ between the two sluggers.

King Mo (12-3-0-1) took on experienced Russian fighter Mikhail Zayats (22-8) in the first semi-final and won via unanimous decision, The last time King Mo was entered into a Bellator tournament was when he was KO’d in a shock defeat to Emanuel Newton, who is now currently the champ after defeating King Mo for a second time the same year.

Rampage (34-11) continued his good run in Bellator with another KO victory this time over former champ Christian M’Pumbu (18-6-1). The former UFC champ stuffed a takedown early in the first before mounting M’Pumbu and reigning down some thumping ground and pound.

During the post-fight in-cage interview with Rampage there was a “scuffle” after he called out King Mo, who was conveniently in the cage also. Some fine promo work between the pair, worthy of the WWE. Check it out below;
