Paul ‘Semtex’ Daley (40 – 15 – 2) vs Jon Fitch (30 – 7 – 1) is official for May 12 in San Jose at Bellator 199. Daley will welcome Fitch, currently on a four fight win streak will look to shake his tendency for grinding out decisions in lack lustre fights.
Fitch was famously cut from the UFC after he fought Demian Maia to a decision. Given Paul Daley’s knack of being involved in exciting fights it’s possible that this fight may not go to the third round.
Daley will be looking to put himself back into title contention and a win over Fitch may well secure that position.
