Warrior Fight Series held its third show to date this weekend with a stacked card, headlined by an instant classic between Jake Bostwick and Patrick Vallee.
The main card featured some well-known names from across the UKMMA scene with former Cage Warriors Light Heavyweight stand out Darren Stewart picking up a win and Pelu Adetola also scoring a win at 205lbs.
Elsewhere on the card Brad “The Crazy Kid” Wheeler picked up his fifth win on the bounce scoring a TKO over Kester Mamba and proving that he is one of the top unsigned Welterweights in the UK right now.
Someone who may be willing to question that last statement though is “Mr Bag and Tags” Nathan Jones. Like Wheeler, Jones also picked up his fifth wins in a row and in doing so won the WFS Welterweight Title. Jones is becoming more rounded with every fight and is definitely one to keep your eyes on.
The main event which was a Middleweight clash, saw Jake “Brutal” Bostwick aiming to pick up his ninth win on the bounce against a dangerous late replacement opponent in Patrick Vallee. It’s not often that only three shows in that a promotion can stake a claim for holding many classic fights, but I truly believe the WFS have their “Griffin/Bonnar” clash after only three shows.
