Godbeer allegations ‘false and without foundation’

Following last weeks announcement by Mark Godbeer that he had removed himself from the forthcoming Bellator card which is due to take place at the O2 Arena in London #WHOATV reached out to ATAK, the promotional team who were named in his statement for comment. ATAK have today responded with the following:

“The allegations, made by Mark Godbeer, about ATAK are false and without foundation.

We wish to point out that ATAK Promotions have had no direct contact with Mark at any time. ATAK Promotions has not been approached by Mark or his management team to confirm why he has removed himself from the 16 July event.

ATAK Promotions are excited to be involved with the promotion of its first event in London. We had no involvement whatsoever in the December 2015 ‘fight at Rizin’ referred to by Mark.

MMA fans will be well aware that for very sad reasons beyond our control the main card for Bellator 158 has been subject to change. In response to Mark’s comments ATAK Promotions do not manage any of the fighters on the main card or undercard for the 16 July event.”

#WHOATV have reached out to Mark Godbeer for comment and will continue to keep you on top of developments should they happen.
