Brock Lesnar: “My Legacy in the Octagon is over”

“My legacy in the Octagon is over” – Brock Lesnar

Those are the words that disappointed many throughout the MMA world, me included. It seems like a decision that was a tough one to make judging by Lesnar’s words.

“I talked with Dana (White), I talked with Lorenzo (Fertitta), I talked to  Vince McMahon, I talked to my wife, I talked to my friends. I had many sleepless nights on what to do. At the end of the day, it weighed heavily on my heart that I was born to be an entertainer, and I have fun doing it. I could go back to the octagon, and what am I going to gain? I was the UFC heavyweight champion of the world. Due to my illness, my career got cut short. And that’s God telling you, ‘Hey, maybe it’s time to move on.”

Check out the interview below where Lesnar speaks about his decision and that he reveals that he is re-signing with WWE.
