Former UFC Middleweight and current Bellator fighter Wanderlei Silva has received his American citizenship. As reported by TMZ Silva was filmed by the media outlet and went on a full pro-USA rant which included some harsh words for Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff.
Wanderlei has been running the Wand Fight Team in Las Vegas since 2009 and has now become a United States citizen.
He is next expected to compete in a tag team grappling match with Kiyoshi Tamura against former opponent Kazushi Sakuraba and Hideo Tokoro at an event on April 17, 2016 for the Rizin FF promotion.
