Lightweight Rhys ‘Skeletor’ McKee returns to BAMMA after signing an extended contract, and will face off against Kams ‘Shin Panther’ Ekpo at BAMMA Newcastle on Friday 15th December 2017.
The returning Rhys ‘Skeletor’ McKee takes on the wild and unpredictable Kams ‘Shin Panther’ Ekpo in a Lightweight bout. After signing on the dotted line with the promotion, McKee will look to hit the ground running and get himself right back into the title mix once more.
Facing him on the other side of the cage will best Kams ‘Shin Panther’ Ekpo. The French born fighter who resides in London will look to make his BAMMA debut in Newcastle a spectacular one, after narrowly missing out on competing at BAMMA 24: Kone Vs. Phillips after injuries sidelined the bout with Lloyd Manning.
Rhys ‘Skeletor’ McKee (5-1-1) after his sensational fight of the year candidate with Richie Smullen at BAMMA 30: Philpott Vs. Walsh in July ended in a draw, the Next Generation Northern Ireland standout now makes his way to Newcastle for his first bout with the promotion outside of the North and South of Ireland.
Kams ‘Shin Panther’ Ekpo (4-1) made his debut at UCMMA in February 2015, Ekpo submitted Klodian Tego following a slam to kick his career off with a bang. Following further wins over Radostin Mitev and Viktor Gustavsson, the highly touted Ekpo makes his BAMMA debut against McKee in the Metro Radio Arena. Ekpo also makes the jump to Lightweight.
