Ronda Rousey may be going through the toughest time of her career to date following her first loss in MMA against Holly Holm, but the former Bantamweight Queen is not hanging them up.
In a recent interview with ESPN magazine, Rousey described the content of her injuries and is definitely not going to be back to full time sparring for a while.
“It might be three to six months before I can eat an apple, let alone take impact.”
Rousey revealed that the loss to Holm not only left her unconscious and without the Title but also made her feel “really f—king sad!”
Whilst times might be hard for Rousey at the moment, she remains optimistic that she will get back to the top of the pile when she makes her return to the Octagon.
“Maybe I can’t do it all before my prime, before my body is done, but f—k it, maybe I can.”
