Conor McGregor wasn’t successful in his first trip to the Welterweight division after being submitted by Nate Diaz at #UFC196, but current Welterweight Champion Robbie Lawler has stated it would of been much worse for the Irishman had the rumoured bout between the pair had taken place.
Lawyer spoke to WSB-TV to promote his next Title defence against Tyron Woodley at #UFC201.
During the interview Lawler was asked how McGregor would of faired if the rumoured fight between the pair had come to fruition and he answered it in typical Robbie Lawler fashion;
