BAMMA today announced that the newly signed Alan Philpott (13-6) will makes his debut against the undefeated Ed Arthur (5-0) at the historic BAMMA 20 event in Birmingham on April 25th and it will be for the Bantamweight title.
Philpott declared to us recently that he is aiming to win titles and bring the promotion to Ireland, so I guess this is the first stage in those plans.
‘The Apprentice’ enters the fight having won all three of his fights last year marking a return to flying form for the youngster.
He will face stiff competition in Ed Arthur, a three fight BAMMA veteran and a very well rounded fighter capable of winning by submission or knockout.
This is a fight between two rising stars and the Bantamweight title fight at BAMMA 20 is the perfect stage to showcase these two talented fighters.
