We knew how Chuck Liddell vs Tito Ortiz would end, we knew it would be brutal, perhaps for many of us though we hoped the highly anticipated rematch would last a little longer…the majority of us knew it wouldn’t.
Tito Ortiz secured the KO at 4:24 in the first round hopefully putting to bed any dreams Liddell may have of a resurgence to his career. A career which ended first time around with a KO at the hands of Rich Franklin. This is the fourth KO loss at the tail end of his career which, from the slurred speech, rigid movement and various other signs of concussive damage must surely be over for good this time.
