McGregor predicts he will beat Aldo within 4 minutes

We have the latest ‘Mystic Mac’ prediction. On Saturday night Conor McGregor appeared at a local boxing event in Ireland to show support to some boxers he has trained with in the past. While there he was interviewed and asked about a number of topics including Jose Aldo, the man he will face on December 12th in Las Vegas.

“I don’t care about him. It’s a blank face and another body. If he shows up he will be put away inside 4 minutes of the first round,” he said. “But I am still not 100% sure that he will make that walk. When I look into his eyes he is broken. I hope he makes that walk but we’ll see.”

Alan’s Angle: Jose Aldo has lost just one fight in his entire 26 fight career and that was via second round submission almost ten years ago. Some may see this as a very bold prediction but I would not put it past McGregor to win inside 4 minutes. Anybody with the KO ability he has certainly has a chance.

Overall McGregor has 12 wins in the first round and ten of them came inside the first 4 minutes of the first round. This means 50% of his fights have ended within that distance. Granted Aldo will be his toughest challenge to date by far but their styles could result in a flash finish either way.

And if you are a betting man McGregor is 7/2 (+350.00) to win in the first round.
