After months of speculation, contract wranglings and various social media posts both Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather have today confirmed that they will indeed clash in the squared circle on Saturday August 26th.

It’s arguably the greatest match up that has been made this decade and will take place in Las Vegas and will air live via pay-per-view.
Kevin Iole of Yahoo! Sports was the first to report the incredible news after days of speculation that seemingly reached a crescendo in the past 24 hours.

Dana White, speaking via SportsCenter confirmed that the fight will take place at the T-Mobile Arena and both fighters have agreed to clash at 154 pounds wearing 10-pounce gloves.
