Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon “Bones” Jones certainly seemed to be enjoying the #UFCBoston fights and he was particularly vocal about the Heavyweight clash between Matt Mitrione and Travis Browne.
On two occasions during the bout, Mitrione was forced to stop due to Browne poking him in the eye, although the referee did not deduct any points from Browne for doing so.
After the second eye poke, which many fans and fighters took to social media to call “intended” the former Light Heavyweight Champion tweeted out the below tweet.
Bones is a fighter who uses an open palm to push away his opponents faces and this has resulted in him poking numerous opponents in the eye in the past, although perhaps not as bad as Browne at #UFCBoston.
