UFC commentator Joe Rogan has questioned former UFC Featherweight Champion, Jose Aldo’s drug tests ahead of his fight with Conor McGregor.
Rogan appeared on the “Fighter & The Kid” podcast alongside comedian Bryan Callen and UFC Heavyweight Fighter Brendan Schaub.
During the podcast the conversation turned to Aldo and his camp Nova Uniao and the camps refusal for Aldo’s drug test in the lead up to the UFC 189 encounter with McGregor, which subsequently didn’t happen.
Rogan claims that the commission responsible for collecting the urine were close to being deported by Aldo’s camp, and then on the second attempt Aldo tripped and dropped his sample on the floor, calling the claim “insane”.
Schaub is seen in the clip to defend Aldo and say that he has never failed a test, to which Rogan responds, “Neither did Lance Armstrong.”
