Cleveland’s very own Stipe Miocic has returned from Brazil with the UFC Heavyweight strap following his astonishing KO victory over former Champion Fabricio Werdum at UFC 198.
Miocic finally made it home after a monumental weekend for himself and his home State, becoming the first person to win a major sporting Championship in 52 years and his fans and fellow Clevelanders made sure they were at the airport to welcome him home.
Miocic was overwhelmed by the support and was bought to tears given his hero’s welcome which you can see in the video above. Soon after he tweeted out a couple of messages showing just how much he appreciated the support;
