“Dirty” Harry Marple will face Wendle “Kojo” Lewis as BAMMA adds this exciting match up to its 21st fight card that takes place at the Barclaycard Arena, Birmingham, England on 13th June.
BAMMA 21, to be broadcast on SPIKE TV UK and around the world, is headlined by a title fight that will see a new Middleweight champion crowned in the shape of either Andy “Lion’s Paw” DeVent or France’s Cheick Kone.
Wendle “Kojo” Lewis, not seen since he suffered a devastating KO at the hands of Leon Edwards, will be looking for redemption here since experiencing the loss, the second of his eight fight career. Lewis who trains alongside Brad Pickett, Ashleigh Grimshaw and current BAMMA World Light-heavyweight champion Marcin ‘Bane’ Lazarz will be looking to his experienced pro MMA record to secure a victory.
“Dirty” Harry Marple, last seen at BAMMA 20 where he secured a submission victory via Japanese Necktie when he faced Chris Astley, spoke to #WHOATV and revealed his tactics for the fight. “The game plan is whoop his ass and look good doing it. To most people I’ll be seen as the underdog going into this fight. Those who know me know this isn’t the case. Wendle probably thinks this too, he’s in for a rude awakening.”
Tickets are available now and further information on this and other additions to the fight card will be announced soon and available via BAMMA’s Facebook page and Twitter account.
