Cage Warriors rewarding $2,000 for ‘rare’ finishes

Everyone loves a highlight reel finish. They are great for fans and great for the promotion, it creates a buzz about their event and their fighters and brings more eyes to their show.

Cage Warriors are now stepping up their game to try entice fighters into being more exciting and provide some more highlights. They will be rewarding $2,000 for any of the following ten finishes:
KO’s- head kick, flying knee, slam, superman punch, spinning and a KO in less than 60 seconds.
Submissions- twister submission, knee bar, heel hook, and gogoplata.

As reported by MMAJunkie.com, this will come into effect starting with this weekend’s Cage Warriors 70 event in Dublin, Ireland which features the anticipated return of Joseph Duffy, the last man to beat both Conor McGregor and Norman Parke.

Alan’s Angle: Another smart move by Cage Warriors. Everyone wins in this situation, fighters get the opportunity for more money, fans get excitement and the promotion gets more publicity through finishes and publishing them on YouTube.
