Cage Warriors confirm championship fight between Creasey and Greyson and Weltwerweight bout between Craig White and Alex Montagnani for March 24th card.
Cage Warriors 92: Super Saturday, an event which promises 4 title fights across 2 stacked main cards at the Indigo at the O2 in London, today received its third world championship bout of the night. Sam Creasey (9-1), fighting out of Bedfordshire, has finished his last two fights in the very first round and boasts a dynamic striking arsenal as well as a proven ground game which he has used to finish 5 opponents via submission since his pro debut in 2014. Creasey’s 89% finish rate has led him to be considered one of the most exciting and explosive Flyweight prospects on the European scene, and a string of stellar performances under Cage Warriors lights have led him to challenge for the promotion’s world title on March 24th.
Team Titan’s Nathan Greyson (5-2) is no stranger to finishing fights either. All 5 of his victories have come by knockout, with his last win over Jack Lambe showcasing his devastating ability to string together fight-ending knees, punches and elbows from all angles. Greyson, who has warred with some serious competition including the UFC’s Arnold Allen back in 2012, is a serious adversary and will look to match Creasey blow-for-blow at Super Saturday. The man left standing will leave as champion.
The second new fight to be announced is a Welterweight match-up between Craig ‘Thundercat’ White (13-7) and Alex Montagnani (10-2). White is riding a 3-fight streak of first round wins, including a guillotine choke submission over Hakon Foss which was nominated one of Cage Warriors’ submission finishes of the year 2017. Similarly, Montagnani has laid waste to his last two opponents in round one with explosive technical stoppages, making this a bout which has fireworks written all over it.
This monumental card will feature a Bantamweight title fight between reigning champion Nathaniel Wood and Italy’s Luca ‘Duke’ Iovine, as well as a heavyweight championship bout between light-heavyweight king Karl Moore and current champion Mauro Cerilli. Another bantamweight clash between Jack ‘Tank’ Shore, arguably the hottest prospect in Europe, and UFC veteran Vaughan Lee is also set to be a fight for the ages.
