Former UFC Heavyweight Champion and now WWE superstar Brock Lesnar has responded to UFC president Dana Whites recent twitter outrage against professional wrestling.
Lesnar was asked on ESPN Sports centre about Dana’s social media spat with a fan in which the president of the UFC called WWE fake and said “Fake sh-t should be $9.99.”
When asked about what he make of Dana’s comments Lesnar was pretty direct and to the point.
“Of course, Dana, it’s fake, everybody knows that, but it’s still the same – you’re promoting the same thing we’re promoting. Dana White is promoting fights, we’re promoting fights. It just so happens that we get a little more longevity out of our fight and out of our fighters because of the circumstances.”
Lesnar then added some heat to the mix comparing Vince McMahon and Dana White, and clearly favoring this current employer as the better fight promoter.
“The business model is the same; it’s identical. I think Vince McMahon’s better at it than Dana, and that might rub Dana the wrong way.
“Vince is the pioneer of it. He’s been doing this his whole life, and he’s damned good at it.”
