Martin Stapleton Vs Damien Lapilus
BAMMA World Lightweight Title

Round One:

Lapilus lands a left hand as Stapleton comes in for a leg kick. Both guys circling each other and Stapleton misses with a big right hand. Lapilus lands with a left and they clinch. Stapleton goes for the takedown but doesn’t land. Lapilus clinches and presses Stapleton up against the cage. Stapleton stalking down Lapilus who does a great job of circling around the outside and staying out of range. Stapleton lands a takedown and is on top of Lapilus. Stapleton takes side control. Stapleton landing some elbows and unleashes with some ground and pound. He now moves into full guard. Referee stands them up.

Round Two:

Stapleton controlling the centre of the cage at the start of the round and slips back and catches an illegal knee in the face from Lapilus.

Mark Godbeer Vs Stuart Austin

Round One:

Austin lands a right hand which wobbles Godbeer early. Austin ducks out of the way of a Godbeer right hand. Austin lands a flying knee but Godbeer is fine and responds with a leg kick. Godbeer trying to back Austin against the cage. Godbeer lands a combo and follows up with a kick to the stomach but Austin has great cage awareness and doesn’t get caught against the cage. Austin changing levels and lands a takedown. Godbeer back to his feet but eats some knees on way up. Referee breaks the clinch on the cage after a low blow from Godbeer. Referee starts them back in position against the cage and Godbeer quickly breaks out.

Round Two:

Godbeer pushes Austin against cage and lands a big knee but Austin isn’t troubled by it and is moving just out of range of Godbeers strikes. Austin tries a hip throw but Godbeer pops back up. Godbeer lands a big right hand which drops Austin and he swarms him for the win.

Round One:

Fight starts fast with both guys swinging. They clinch and Fletcher lands some heavy elbows, a few to the back of the head and the referee puts a stop to the action. Fight has been called off by Marc Goddard.

Matt Hallam Vs Alexander Bergman
Middleweight Bout

Round One:

Bergman gets the takedown early on in the round and is controlling Hallam from the top. Bergman lands some nice ground and point and is in full mount. Hallam desperate to get back to his feet. Bergman takes the back and then moves to full mount but Hallam is able to get himself back to his feet. Hallam lands a huge knee to the body which hurts Bergman. Bergman gets the clinch and has Hallam pressed against the fence. Hallam lands a huge front kick and another to the body and Bergman is looking hurt. Hallam drops him with a punch and is on top of Bergman with 30 seconds of the round remaining. Bergman lands some huge shots and Hallam wobbles but is able to ride out the round.

Round Two:

Hallam walking down his opponent and landing repeatedly with the front kick to the body. Hallam lands a nice straight right but Bergman counters with a takedown. Hallam pops back up and is landing lots of unanswered strikes. Hallam has Bergman hurt against the cage and a flurry of knees and punches leaves Marc Goddard to stop the bout.

Bantamweight Bout

Round One:

Else hands a right hand and immediately presses Arthur against the cage. Else tries a takedown but Arthur shrugs him off, Else continues to hold on to his opponent though and eventually gets the trip. Arthur gets back to his feet and presses Else against the cage. Else lands a knee to the body and has Arthur pressed against the cage and then lands another takedown. Else gets a d’arce choke locked in and Arthur is in a bad position. Else is squeezing hard but Arthur is fighting. Arthur manages to break free and gets Else down. Arthur now gets the back of Else who manages to get out of that position but now Arthur is on top and lands some shots. The referee stands them up and Arthur lands a huge shot on Else who is rocked but and Arthur gets the fight to the ground again. Arthur looking to take the back and Else just looking to survive this round. Referee calls a stop with seconds to go due to strikes.

Light Heavyweight Bout

Round One:

Sloan lands a right hand and the pair clinch against the cage. The pair exchange in the clinch and McDermott gets a big takedown. McDermott traps an arm and lands some ground and pound. Sloan trying to get back to his feet and is able to. McDermott stalking his opponent down but Sloan returns with some big shots of his own. McDermott lands some kicks and then a big right hand which hurts Sloan and then shoots for the takedown. McDermott laying it on now and Sloan looks hurt. McDermott lands a huge right hand and knocks out Sloan.

Brazier comes out quick and lands a few shots and takes down Buangala. Brazier jumps on his back and sinks in a rear naked choke and gets the stoppage.

Xavier Sedras Vs Chris Bungard
Lightweight Bout

Round One:

Sedras gets an early takedown. Bungard throwing lots of shots from the bottom. Sedras in half guard. Bungard keeping Sedras close to him and not able to get many shots away. Sedras lands a couple of elbows from the top. Elbow to the back of the head leads to the referee stopping the action. Bungard back to his feet and willing to continue. Sedras has a point deducted and the action continues. Sedras gets Bungard against the cage. Ref breaks the clinch. Sedras gets another takedown. Elbows being exchange between the pair on the ground. Sedras postures up and nearly eats a face kick. Sedras takes the back and is looking to try and finish this fight with not long on the clock.

Round Two

Bungard tries a spinning elbow to start but Sedras avoids and is able to grapple Bungard to the mat. Sedras has the back and is raining down shots. Sedras moves to side control and is landing shots to the body while searching for a kimura. Sedras takes the back again and Bungard needs to get back to his feet. Sedras locks in a rear naked choke and Bungard is in trouble. Bungard taps due to rear naked choke.

Round One:

Cone comes out pushing the pace. Selvarajah looks hesitant but the pair clinch and Selvarajah gets the takedown. Coyne gets back to his feet and the pair clinch again and Selvarajah is using his size to press Coyne against the cage. Selvarajah lands another solid takedown and takes side control. Selvarajah takes the back and then after an attempt at getting back up takes full mount. Selvarajah lands some shots from the top and Coyne rolls onto his stomach and Selvarajah sinks in a rear naked choke for the finish.

Round One:

Trueman lands a leg kick early. They clinch and Trueman gets the takedown. Garabet tries to pop back up but eats a few shots for his troubles. Trueman then lands a big slam and takes side control. Garabet tries again to get to his feet but Trueman takes him back down. Side control again for Trueman. Trueman keeping Garabet on the floor. Garabet desperate to get to his feet. Garabet briefly gets up and Trueman lands a knee to the midriff. Trueman lands a flurry of punches which hurt Garabet and a body shot really does damage. Trueman takes him down again. Trueman landing elbows from the top. Trueman finally gets the stoppage by guillotine.

Mike Grundy Vs Marley Swindells
Lightweight Bout

Round One:

Grundy lands a takedown off the bell. Moves to side control, Swindells working hard to avoid full mount. Grundy secures the neck and is looking for a d’arce choke. Swindells momentarily gets to his feet only to be dragged back down. Grundy takes the back and is working for the rear naked choke. Lands some shots from the back and Swindells is in a bad position. Grundy moves back to take the neck from side control. Swindells manages to get to his feet again only to be taken back down immediately. Grundy postures up and lands some shots and then goes into full guard.

Round Two

Grundy lands a flying knee to open the second round. Grundy lands an uppercut going forward. Swindells really needs to keep this on the feet. Grundy lands another takedown and Swindells really needs to get up quick. Swindells tries to get up but Grundy takes the back. Another failed attempt at getting back to his feet results in another takedown for Grundy. Grundy landing shots off the back and the referee looked in but Swindells was able to get himself out of the position. Grundy gets a neck and is searching still for the d’race. Round ends with Grundy desperately working for a neck choke.

Round Three

Grundy lands another takedown and starts to land some ground and pound. Grundy takes the back. Swindells gets back to the feet again only for a matter of seconds before he is taken back down. Grundy takes side control but can’t quite do enough to finish Swindells.

Lightweight Bout

Round One

Herbert chasing down, tries a spinning back kick against the cage. Morgan spent most of round with back against the cage. Herbert really staying composed and pressing Morgan against the cage. Morgan landing some nice shots to end the round. Great first round.

Round Two

Herbert lands some nasty elbows inside the clinch and then unloads with a flurry of shots and knees. Morgan holding on but looks hurt against the cage. Herbert still picking his shots and not wasting energy. Herbert landing more elbows and gets the takedown and takes the back then into full mount. Morgan can’t get Herbert off and Herbert takes the back again. Sinks in the rear naked choke and finishes the fight.

Round One:

Parobiec throws huge left to start the fight. Both guys circling, Aspinall throws a leg kick. Aspinall throws a body kick. Parobiec tries a superman punch. Aspinall lands with a big right and is starting to pick his shots. Parobiec pressing forward keeping the centre of the cage. Aspinall lands nice combo which rocks Parobiec. Parobiec lands a right hook which knocks Aspinall down, but he is able to compose himself and get back to his feet. Aspinall lands a body kick.

Round Two

Aspinall lands a straight right and Parobiec drops and Aspinall tries a guillotine. Parobiec survives and is back to his feet. Parobiec throws a leg kick which is checked. Parobiec lands a left hook which drops Aspinall but Parobiec doesn’t follow up on the ground and Aspinall is back to his feet. Aspinall gets the takedown and lands some huge ground and pound but fight is called off due to strikes to back of head.
