KSW Federation added another exciting prospect to its growing roster of fighters today as 25-year old Brazilian Andre Muniz (13-3, 3 KO, 9 Sub) signed a multi-fight deal with one of Europe’s leading promotions and will face the reigning KSW light heavyweight champion Tomasz Narkun (11-2, 1 KO, 10 Sub) in the KSW 34 co-headliner on March 5th in Warsaw.
Nicknamed “Sergipano”, the Tata Fight Team talent is on a seven-bout winning streak, which includes unanimous decision victory over former Pride star and WEC champion Paulo Filho. The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt submitted his last six opponents with various chokes with none of these bouts lasting longer than two rounds. Despite his young age, the Brazilian, has a six-year professional MMA experience and sixteen fights under his belt.
A 10-month older Pole also sports a black belt in BJJ. In Warsaw, Narkun will defend his title for the first time. He claimed the KSW light heavyweight strap back in October, when he viciously knocked out Goran Reljic at KSW 32 in London.
