A betting guide to UFC 194

#UFC194 is less than a month away and as the excitement ramps toward the historic event, the bookies will be open for fans to place their hard earnt cash on their favourite fighters.

The card is stacked from top to bottom with intriguing bouts including McGregor/Aldo, Weidman/Rockhold, Maia/Nelson & Holloway/Stephens to name but a few. And with so many bouts nearly impossible to predict winners in #WHOATV have broken down the odds (provided by PaddyPower.com) to give you some help on who to back.

Main Card

Interim UFC Featherweight Champion, Conor McGregor opens as the 8/13 favourite against the current UFC Featherweight Champion, Jose Aldo. McGregor is still sceptical that Aldo will arrive at the event following what unfolded at UFC 189 and enters the bout on a fourteen fight win streak. McGregor has predicted he will put Aldo away inside three rounds, which if you believe to be true you can get at 11/10.

The co-main event sees UFC Middleweight Champion, Chris Weidman put his gold on the line against Luke Rockhold. Weidman opens as a 4/7 favourite with a Rockhold win going for 11/8 at the moment which isn’t a bad shout.

Two of the best grappler’s in the Welterweight division clash on the main card as Gunnar Nelson takes on Demain Maia. Maia opens as favourite at 8/11 which is based heavily on his three fight win streak, but at 11/10 Nelson is definitely a risk worth taking.

In a number one contender match in the Middleweight division, Ronaldo Souza takes on Yoel Romero. Souza opens as early favourite at 8/13 which is supported by an eight fight win streak, with seven finishes. Romero is no slouch though and is riding a six fight win streak himself, with five finishes and at 8/13 odds could definitely be worth backing.

Feeling lucky punk?

Has Urijah Faber got too much going on outside the cage to really focus on opponent Frankie Saenz? Is he underestimating him? Well just £5 on Saenz could earn you £27.50 (including your £5 stake) and given how much Faber has on his mind might not be a bad punt.

SBG Double

Conor and Gunnar have not lost in the UFC when they have both been on the same card (UFC Fight Night McGregor Vs Brandao & UFC 189) and putting £10 on a double will bag you £33.92.
