UFC FIGHT NIGHT ON ESPN®: BLAYDES vs VOLKOV takes place in Las Vegas at the UFC APEX.

The preliminary bouts will be live from 5PM ET and will be available on ESPN, or if you are based in the UK, the prelims will kick off around 10PM BST and will be available on BT Sport.

Tonight’s UFC fight night card sees the clash of two heavyweight contenders as the No. 3 ranked Curtis ‘Razor’ Blaydes (13-2) takes on the No. 7 ranked Alexander ‘Drago’ Volkov (31-7).

With Miocic vs Cormier on the horizon, both fighters will be sure to leave everything in the octagon to put themselves in a prime position to call for a title shot to see a close 2020 or to kick off 2021.

Blaydes boasts an impressive record, coming into this bout riding a three fight win streak with victories over Mark Hunt, Junior Dos Santos and Alistair Overeem.

Russia’s Volkov has won four of his last five bouts, with wins over Greg Hardy, Fabricio Werdum and Stefan Struve amongst those.

It seems that Blaydes will be coming in the favourite tonight. However, if his 31 wins is anything to go by, Volkov is an experienced fighter than no one should rule out.

In the co-main event, we see two of the UFC’s top featherweight prospects meet, as Team Alpha Male’s Josh Emmett (15-2) faces the Bronx born ‘Hurricane’ Shane Burgos (13-1).

Emmett comes in ranked as No.8 in the UFC’s featherweight division and holds impressive knockouts wins over Mirsad Bektic, Michael Johnson and Ricardo Lamas.

Burgos is currently ranked as No.10 in the division and really put himself on the radar after dominant victories over Finland’s Makwan Amirkhani and UFC veteran Cub Swanson in 2019.

Both fighters will be looking to eye up a title shot in the future in what is one of the UFC’s most stacked divisions to date.

With Emmett’s clean, one-punch knockout power, matched against Burgos’ elite boxing skills, this is sure to be a fight of the year contender.

This card is stacked full of exciting match ups that will deliver a great night of fights that you will not want to miss.
