Soldic vs Kincl set for KSW 50

Roberto Soldic to defend title against Patrik Kincl at KSW 50   KSW’s welterweight king Roberto Soldic (16-3) will face a new and dangerous title challenger when he welcomes Patrik Kincl (22-9) to the promotion at the milestone KSW 50 event at The SSE Arena, Wembley in London on September 14.

Splitting his time training between the renowned UFD Gym in Germany and working with Firas Zahabi at Tristar, Roberto Soldic has emerged as one of the most fearsome prospects in the world of MMA since joining KSW at the end of 2017. In his very first fight for the promotion he captured the welterweight title dethroning longtime champ Borys Mankowski. He has since wracked off a number of highlight reel finishes and overall the 24-year-old owns an incredible finishing rate of 94%, including a one-punch KO win in less than ninety seconds in his last title defense at KSW 49.

Now Soldic faces a new test coming in the shape of the Czech Republic’s Patrik Kincl. The experienced fighter has been competing professionally for over a decade and has competed across a variety of Europe’s top promotions and has amassed an impressive 14-2 (1 NC) run since 2013. The 30-year-old has shown to be an incredibly well-rounded fighter with the ability to submit and knockout opponents. Kincl will see this is a massive opportunity to finally receive the applause he deserves after his great career on the European scene so far.

The UK’s Phil De Fries (17-6) will defend his KSW heavyweight title against Damian Grabowski (22-5) in the main event. One of Europe’s top light heavyweights Tomasz Narkun (16-3) will defend his title against yet-to-be-announced exciting opponents and Norman Parke (27-6-1) & Marian Ziolkowski (21-7-1) will compete for the KSW interim lightweight title.
