Sean “The Muscle Shark” Sherk interested in Gracie fight

Former UFC Lightweight Champion Sean “The Muscle Shark” Sherk has hinted at coming out of retirement to fight Royce Gracie following #Bellator 149.

Sherk last fought back at UFC 119 against Evan Dunham but has been out of action since then but in a recent facebook post (which you can see below) has been thinking about a return to the cage for the last year.

Sherk who has wins over Nick Diaz, Tyson Griffin and Karo Parisyan to name but a few competed at both Welterweight and Lightweight during his UFC career, coming up short for the 170lbs title at UFC 42 against Matt Hughes and defeating Kenny Florian at UFC 64 to win the 155lbs strap.

A fight with Royce would see “The Muscle Shark” make a return to the cage after a six year layoff and it would be intriguing to see if Sherk would be able to shake off that amount of ring rust.

I'm glad Royce Gracie won that fight last night, now I'm just to go ahead and say what I've been thinking for the last…
