It seems as though we will see Nick Diaz back inside the Octagon as today he has had his five year ban reduced to 18 months.
Diaz went in front of the Nevada State Athletic commission and the sentence which was previously 5 years and a $165k fine, was reduced to 18 months and a fine of $100k.
Brett Okamoto of ESPN has confirmed that a source has told him that the 18-month suspension is from the time of the Anderson Silva fight which could mean we get to see Diaz return in 2016.
As part of the reduction of his sentence, Diaz will have to submit clean urine samples 30, 15 and 3 days before his next fight in Nevada.
