The UFC announced today that Irishman Joseph Duffy (12-1) will make his promotional debut on March 14th in Dallas, Texas against veteran Vagner Rocha (11-4)
The man who hails from Donegal is widely known as the last man to beat Conor McGregor but that isn’t his only claim to fame as the 26-year-old also possesses a stellar record and wins over the likes of Norman Parke and a host of Europe’s finest.
Rocha holds a record of 1-3 inside the Octagon. The Brazilian went 1-2 during his first run with the promotion then racked off four impressive wins on the independent scene before being snapped up again late last year. However, he lost on his return to Jake Matthews in November. Rocha holds notable wins over Cody McKenzie and Igor Gracie.
