It seems as though the University of Alabama’s head football coach is a fan of UFC Lightweight Champion, Conor McGregor.
Nick Saban was reported to have used McGregor’s famous “We are not here to take part, we are here to take over” speech to rally his team to a secure a win over Michigan State.
And it seems that the quote had an impact on the Crimson Tide who went on to defeat the Michigan State Spartans 38-0, landing them a spot in the finals in which they would then go on to defeat Clemson, 45-40.
