Rick Pfeifer may not be well known on the MMA scene but the Canadian can certainly stake a claim to having one of the best nicknames in MMA.
“The Ginger With Intent To Injure” hails from Alberta, Canada and trains out of the Arashi Do centre in Red Deer and has a current record of 5-3.
He has spent his career fighting on the Canadian regional scene and has his next bout arranged to take place on 15th April against Morgan Rhynes in a Bantamweight. And “The Ginger With Intent To Injure” can rest assured that regardless of opponent he will always win the “Battle of the nicknames.”

There’s not a lot of background behind it. I was just working with a guy and he found out I was a fighter so he asked me “so what’s your nickname the ginger with intent to injure?” I looked at him and started laughing and said “it is now”
Around the gym I pretty much just go by ginger for short!
