As reported via the BAMMA newsletter, “The Housewives Choice” Chris Fields will take on Andy “The Vice” Clamp for the BAMMA Light Heavyweight Title in the co-main event of #BAMMA27.
#BAMMA27 takes place on 16th December in Dublin, Ireland and will see BAMMA and Bellator combine to put on a show at the o2 arena.
This bout at 205lbs will give Fields another opportunity to fight for the Light Heavyweight strap, having previously been scheduled to fight Paul Craig at #BAMMA26. Former Champion Craig has since signed with the UFC and has vacated the belt which allows Fields and Clamp a huge opportunity.
Fields has competed at the 205lbs limit just once, back at #BAMMA24 in which he stopped Dan Konecke in the first round.
His opponent Clamp has spent his career with ICE FC to date, having last fought at the end of October, picking up a submission win and taking his current win streak to four fights on the bounce.
