KO specialist Paul ‘Semtex’ Daley will face Igor ‘Chatubinha’ Fernandes in a headlining Welterweight clash at BAMMA 16, when the promotion returns to Manchester, their first visit since BAMMA 5, where Paul Daley knocked out Yuja Shirai, 1:46 into Round 1.
Flying in from Rio de Janeiro on a 6 fight win streak for BAMMA 16, Igor Fernandes brings a record of 18-6 since 2007 the Brazilian’s last outing saw him defeat Paul Daley’s old foe Rudy Bears via Anaconda Choke, the win coming just one fight after Paul Daley demolished Bears via TKO at Bellator in 2013. Daley will be wary of Fernandes ground game as he has a 78% Submission win rate.
