In the first meeting between these two featherweight greats, current champion Alexander Volkanovski entered UFC 245 undefeated in the Octagon to challenge Max Holloway for the belt. After a close back-and-forth battle, Volkanovski came out victorious via unanimous decision, claiming the division crown and his 8th straight UFC win. Business is not finished between these two as they are set to face off once again in a trilogy title fight in the co-main event at UFC 276 on Saturday, July 2.
