This week sees the start of a brand new series of The Ultimate Fighter headed by Coaches Frankie Edgar and BJ Penn. TUF 19 kicks off with a special two-hour premiere on BT Sport 1 on Wednesday, 16th April at 3am GMT.
The line up includes Conor McGregor’s team mates Cathal Pendred and Chris Fields among the hopefuls competing to enter the TUF house. Fields, who fights out of the famed SBG Ireland, which is headed by ‘the Godfather of Irish MMA’ coach John Kavanagh, like his team mate Pendred, will be looking to put Ireland on the map as a hotbed for emerging MMA talent.
Here Fields talks about his team mates, the Irish MMA scene, and his future potential in the UFC.
