On Saturday, March 17, UFC will return to London with a showcase of a who’s who of UK based talent. No.3 ranked Fabricio Werdum takes on No.7 ranked Alexander Volkov in a heavyweight main event battle.
Tickets for UFC FIGHT NIGHT®: WERDUM vs. VOLKOV will be available via AXS and Ticketmaster now and are priced at £40, £60, £80, £100, £125 and £175 (prices do not include applicable service charges or fees).
Former UFC heavyweight champion Werdum (23-7-1; fighting out of Los Angeles, Calif., USA), will be looking to put on a dominant performance and cement his position at the top of the rankings. The Brazilian has made no secret in his desire to secure himself another shot at the title against the person who dethroned him, current world champion Stipe Miocic.
Standing in his way however, is Russia’s Alexander Volkov (29-6; fighting out of Moscow, Russia) who is undefeated in his last five MMA bouts and has taken the UFC by storm since making his debut in 2016. Most recently, Volkov knocked out Stefan Struve in his home country of the Netherlands in September last year cementing his status as one of the divisions most exciting prospects.
With both athletes looking to prove their position for title contention, everything will be to play for as they step into the Octagon® on March 17.
