Silva, 39, is currently retired from MMA competition after being issued a lifetime ban by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) as a result of him dodging an out of competition drug test. He has since challenged the ruling successfully in Nevada’s district court where a judge overturned the ban. Wanderlei is currently awaiting a re hearing by the NSAC which has been delayed four times already.

Should the re hearing turn out in favour of Wanderlei it is possible that we will see him fight again. Rizin, Bellator, and ONEFC are all possible homes for him. Silva vs Fedor anyone?
