The first episode of the TUF 19 season featuring middleweights and light heavyweights was aired during the week and being the first episode it was the preliminary fights to get into the house.
The highlight of these fights was a brutal one-punch KO from Daniel Spohn.
Conor McGregor was in attendance and was filmed playing the ‘cornerman role’ from the stands as he watched his teammate Chris Fields fight, who won his fight after his opponent blew his knee.
Finally the coaches selected their teams from the winners. Irishman Cathal Pendred (pictured below right) got a bye into the house due to having no opponent but will be the very first fight in the house.
