Top European promotion KSW recently announced that their first show of 2016 will take place on March 5th in Poland’s capital city of Warsaw.
Following on from the momentum of last year the organization has revealed that three key title fights will headline the KSW 34 card.
Taking top bill will be the long-time KSW heavyweight champ Karol Bedorf (13-2). Unbeaten in his past seven fights, Bedorf last fought in November at KSW 33 when he knocked out Michał Kita with a spectacular second round head kick.
Tomasz Narkun (11-2) will defend his light heavyweight title for the first time in the co-main event. The Polish fighter won the title from UFC veteran Goran Reljic at KSW 32 in London this past October. This proved to be a breakout fight for the 26-year-old. Narkun had previously been defeated by Reljic via decision at KSW 29 but this time he was able to score the KO win, a first for the man who had a 100% submission rate.
At KSW 33 Artur Sowiński (16-7, 2 NC) won the inaugural featherweight title after he emphatically defeated highly rated Japanese grappler Kleber Koike Erbst, who was coming in with a 14-fight-winning-streak and fresh off a win over Miguel Torres. Now one of Europe’s most exciting featherweights will defend his title for the very first time.
No opponents have been announced yet but we expect some to be confirmed over the coming weeks.
