As per KSW’s press release the promotion has signed Bulgarian middleweight Svetlozar Savov (15-5, 3 KO, 11 Sub) signed a multi-fight contract with KSW Federation to compete at the upcoming KSW 34 card on March 5th in Warsaw. The 27-year-old will clash with the up-and-coming Polish knockout artist Łukasz Bieńkowski (4-1, 2 KO).
For the last four years Savov has been the middleweight champion of the Slovenian organization WFC. In his championship tenure, the former freestyle wrestler defeated some of the best Balkan fighters, including Dragan Tesanovic and Bojan Velickovic.
In his most recent outing, the Bulgarian submitted Japanese veteran and former KSW fighter Ryuta Sakurai with a first-round guillotine choke. Out of his fifteen professional victories, eleven came by submission and three by knockout.
