The long awaited debut of Phil Brooks “CM Punk” has been pushed back even further after news that he is due to undergo back surgery on Wednesday was announced today by MMA Fighting.
It was only this last weekend that we finally found out who he would be facing in his MMA debut and that man was Mickey Gall who won an eliminator fight at #UFCVegas to become the first man to welcome Brooks into MMA.
It was highly anticipated that the fight would take place at UFC 199 but it seems that could potentially now be pushed back. Brooks signed with the promotion in December 2014 but a shoulder injury last year held off his debut.
