Sean ‘The Machine’ Tobin is set to make his ACB debut at ACB 47 in Glasgow on October the 1st at The SSE Hydro Arena. The Bantamweight from Cork in Ireland is coming off the back of an impressive submission win against Gary Morris who he stopped within 2 rounds by way of rear naked choke back at BAMMA 24 in February this year. ‘The Machine’ looked in fine form for that fight but he will need all cylinders blazing as he takes on his toughest test to date in the form of the undefeated Russian prospect Rustam Asuev.
Asuev has had all 4 of his pro fights in the ACB cage with only one of them ending in a decision and the other 3 being finished within the very first round. Asuev is a well-rounded fighter with a tricky submission game backed by power in both hands. Add to that his fast starts and he’s a handful for anyone in ACB’s 135lb division.
Tobin has some experience which he’ll look to use on the young Russian and a tricky submission game of his own plus he will surely have the crowd on his side as the Celtic warrior in the cage.
